Has got to be, in my opinion which is sure to elicit criticism, is pinnacle being damn near unreachable by phone. I hate conducting so called "business" by email, etc. I have read the comments on this before, and NO justification whatsoever will ever be provided to me that will make me change my mind on this situation. I am doomed to send all my money to Olympic I guess because Pinnacle is too damn good to take a damn phone call.

My only gripe was when the software glitches were popping up a little over a year ago.

Kinda hard to e-mail in plays.. If you can't deal with Interent only, than just stick with another out you do like.

They are still a top book, imo. Tough to beat the juice offered there.

I feel the opposite. I really don't feel like dealing with a bunch of Costa Ricans whose voice I can't understand on the crappy connection we establish over the phone.

I articulate myself far better if I get a chance to type it out first.

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR> i have never talked to 1 person at olympic that i can understand<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

LOL

Very good point! I think in 2 years there though, i maybe have needed to call 3 or 4 times.

I thought 5 Dimes was the worst as far as the language barrier, but, the last 2 times i called, the lady was VERY easy to understand.

Maybe they got the message...lol

Pinnacle is made up of razor sharp guys, we all know that.

But I hope they continue to evaluate this subject. It's kind of like their own self imposed anti-monopoly solution so as to not completely takeover the sportsbook world.

At a minimum I would like to see a toll free line for payment and withdraw questions.

For me, as you can tell, I do not have access to the computer all of the time as I have just now been able to read the replies. To me it is imperative that I be able to discuss with them on the phone. Now I agree Olympic's CS department isn't comprised of the friendliest English speaking people around, but at least it's there when I need it (which is on average at least a couple of times a week). Further, when I deal with Pinnacle by email, they never answer my questions fully and, I know this sounds crazy, but are very rude in answering my questions by email. I just don't understand it.

ramdaddy - You can call your bets into Pinnacle but you won't get the Reduced Juice you get over the web. Email them and they will send you the phone number. But remember YOU WILL SAVE MONEY betting online.

Good Luck as Pinnacle is a great place to wager at.

When i played at Pinnacle, I wanted to use the phone badly. I did not stay long & this was prob the main reason. I had a problem with the grading of a ticket and i got tird of sending emails so i pulled out my funds. The book is solid, but i will not play there again until i can call at will.

I have spent many hours on the phone in the past with CS @ oly & i have never had a problem. Communication can be effective if both sides are willing to cooperate in the discussion.

Pinnacle & Olympic are the 1-2 punch in offshore with WWTS right on their tails.

Ramdaddy,

Complaining about lack of phone communication at Pinnacle is like going to Sam's Club or Costco and complaining about the lack of baggers. That's part of their business model. It helps them defray costs, which can be passed on to the bettors through reduced juice. It's much cheaper to buy a computer and use email with Pinnacle than play at a full juice book.

Intuition Bet: Thanks I will call them.

General: Exactly my thoughts.

Senditin: I have numerous computers, the problem is I am often somewhere with my family, etc. where all I have and can have is my cell phone, so no computer in the world would help me. And it might seem like heresy to some, but since I am not a professional gambler, I would willingly trade prices for convenience since the prices do me no good on a regular basis as I cannot get the plays in. It just does not make since to me why you would not speak with your customers. That is basically an affront to gamblers who use the place to me.

To add an addendum to my prior post: Also, this is what is really asinine to me. The fact that, on this forum, I have seen people request their number and it was deleted by mods b/c Pinnacle had requested their number to not be posted in the forums. Come on, now that's just dumb to say nothing of being disrespectful.
